I love what I do because..

I love what I do because I get to meet the most awesome stylists. I swear, they are the SWEETEST people on the planet, that's why I rarely say no to these people (tough scheduling is the only reason I would ever refuse them my services). I've been privileged to meet and work with amazing stylists like Bea Constantino, Pam Quinones, Liz Uy, Sidney Yap, Alyanna Martinez, Aj Alberto, Bianca Cordero, Matt Gozun, Laureen Uy, Kim Yap, Boop Yap, and Patrick Galang. They allow me to dress up beautiful women who carry my garments so well. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.

I think stylists are angels from above. Thanks guys!

Prive Fashion Series - September 15, 2010 - Member's Only

Members Only holds Prive every year it's a a way for designers to show their work in a very laid-back setting where guests can actually mingle with the muses and models wearing the designer's creations. I was so lucky to have been part of event for the second time around (my first Prive stint was last year). I got to work with the greatest people, and I can honestly say, this year was a little bit more relaxed. It gets fun-er every year!

Anyhoo, I'm sneaking in some blog time in the middle of work so my mind's a bit all over the place...so here it is, my 15-piece collection of white dresses and gowns fab enough for a wedding or black-tie event and comfy enough for a night out.

**pictures are from friends, friends' facebook albums; also shown are pictures of the dresses on Mica Tuano, make-up artist and model**

Thank you to Jenny Yrasuegi, Make up Forever, my beautiful muses and everyone who came to the event! Can't wait to whip up another collection for next year.

Gail Miller

When I met Gail I instantly knew she was a girl with great style, she mentioned that she was going to wear red shoes to her wedding so it instantly made me excited to make her beautiful wedding gown. Everything about their wedding was so 1940's and old hollywood glam. The bride looked beautiful in her lace fit-n-flare cut wedding gown with a ruffle train. We decided to make the long train detachable so Gail could dance the night away in a shorter version of her wedding gown. I also added a red sash to match her shoes for the reception. She looked perfect on her wedding day and so did the rest of her entourage.

Congratulations Gail! :) Mwah!

Nadine Wee

A creamy peach confection for a cute as a button bride :) Nadine's dress had a faint peach color which came from the satin that I used underneath the cream tulle on the bodice with a single assymetrical jewel-covered strap. The skirt was covered in square-cut soft peach frosted organza.I loved working with Nadine, she was so laid-back and relaxed about everything. There was no hint of panic or worry on her end, which made me feel so lucky to be doing her wedding dress.

She was glowing on her big day and looked happier than ever.

Congratulations Nadine!

February 6, 2010 - Jojo Sy's fairy tale wedding gown

The ball gown shown above was a crowd favorite at my Holiday 2009 collection at Philippine Fashion Week (who doesn't love a soft and dramatic ball gown?) but someone very important took notice of this piece, her name was Jojo Sy. She had made a mental note to have this dress made in brilliant white (the original gown was a soft, dove grey) for the biggest and most memorable day of her life.
